Everything we do is powered by volunteers. There is a role for every skill and every schedule:

Food Drive team — prepare, pack, serve and welcome, every Thursday evening.
Mentors & tutors — support young people with careers, study and life skills.
Programme helpers — classes, events, majalis, media and outreach.
Duke of Edinburgh placements — structured, evidenced volunteering hours for students.

Volunteering Terms *

In accordance with the General Data Protection Regulations (EU 2016) and Data Protection Act 2018., I give my consent for the information in this form to be processed in accordance with Al Noor Institute policy for the purposes of volunteering.

I’m aware that my private information such as my name and contact details will all be kept strictly confidential and used within the Charity. Except if the information is required by the police or emergency services.

I will notify Al Noor Institute of any change in circumstances that may affect my volunteering responsibilities.

I acknowledge that I am volunteering at entirely my own risk and Al Noor Institute shall not be liable in any way for any injury or loss that may occur because of my activity.

I agree to follow and adhere to the government health and safety policies and guidelines set out and understand that I have responsibility for my own safety and the safety of others whilst volunteering.

CoronaVirus - I confirm that I will wear a face covering by law in some public places (unless you have a reasonable excuse for not wearing one. For example, if you have an illness, impairment or a disability).

I fully understand that as a volunteer no financial incentives / payments would be paid by Al Noor Institute for my time and effort unless expressly agreed in writing.
